For one extraordinary afternoon, the doors of Rao’s—New York’s most elusive restaurant—opened to welcome guests for a private luncheon in support of the Detective Stephen McDonald Scholarship Fund, established by NYPD With Arms Wide Open.
Hosted by Sergeant Conor McDonald and Rao’s owner Ron Straci, with a menu thoughtfully crafted by Executive Chef Dino Gatto, the afternoon brought together old-school hospitality, meaningful conversation, and a shared commitment to giving.
Proceeds support NYPD families of children with special needs, honoring Detective McDonald’s legacy of compassion and service.
