How Do On-Site Auctions Work?

The auction process at Go Charity-led events is a seamless yet strategic experience. Our white-glove approach to your consignment auction event will ensure all items up for bid are well-distributed and promoted. This ensures the bidding process is fully optimized on the night of the event. 

In traditional auction events, bidding will be done through paper bid sheets, found in front of each item up for grabs. As guests browse the items, they can simply jot down their name and bid price on the paper. The paper bid sheets will also include bid increments to encourage guests to keep bidding while keeping items priced at fair market value.

If you are going mobile for the auction, Go Charity also works with your organization’s mobile fundraising platform to further simplify the bidding process. This ensures guests can bid directly from their seats, allowing them to continue socializing and stay up-to-date with the latest bid offer on the item they want.
